Mahmoud Chahrour, CFE
President

Mahmoud is a veteran in franchising, started in January 1992 as a Subway franchisee / operator in Hull, Quebec, Canada where he and his brother developed, owned and operated 5 Subway restaurants between 1992 & 1997 in Hull and Montreal.  In 1997, Mahmoud Joined Subway International as a Regional Director for the Middle East, South East Asia, and Africa where he developed and launched the Subway brand in over 22 countries and territories including 2 countries in Europe.
In 2008, Mahmoud returned to Canada where he further developed more Subway restaurants in key locations in the Montreal Area.

Since 2013, Mahmoud has been helping numerous businesses in the Middle East and Canada and in all sectors, become franchises and helping existing businesses improve their operational standards and establish development strategic plans. A Certified Franchise Executive CFE, who acts in accord with the International Franchise Association’s IFA, the Canadian Franchise Association’s CFA , and the Conseil Quebecois de la Franchise CQF, franchising codes of ethics.

Ibrahim Chahrour
Managing Director / Middle East Office 

Ibrahim is a founding partner and senior franchise consultant at ME Franchising Middle East, he himself was a franchisee and a Developer of the Famous Subway franchise in Lebanon. Ibrahim owned, operated and developed many Subway restaurants in Lebanon and worked with many companies to help them develop their concept and improve performance.

Over the years, he build a great reputation in the franchise and restaurant industries and has a great network of suppliers and franchise investors in the Middle East and Africa.

Ibrahim is a trustworthy professional who has great accomplishments in the franchising and food & beverage world.







Zeïnab Farroukh, M.Sc.
Food Service Consultant / Editor

Zeïnab comes from a strong academic background in food chemistry, food processing, & toxicology. In addition to many training and field experience relevant to food safety, HACCP, and auditing ISO 22000, Zeïnab has hands-on experience working with international food chains in Canada and Lebanon,
she is a passionate Researcher & Developer in the Food and Beverage industry, a quality controller ensuring quality from farm to fork. Zeïnab has developed great skills writing and editing operations manuals and has attended International Franchise association workshops related to structuring an operation manual.
